Bob was a huge artistic influence and a good friend. Greg and I drove up to see Bob at his home in Sandpoint Idaho after finding out he was in poor health.

We had a great time, shared old memories and found out things we'd never known about Bob. One of these was the fact that he'd been offered a higher paying administrative position, but had turned it down because he felt it was more important to continue teaching.

Sadly, Bob passed away barely a month after this visit.
